This Cookie Usage Policy (hereafter referred to as the "Policy") constitutes an agreement between Circle.Help, Registered CIC No. 16007806, located at 96 Kensington, London W8 4SG, United Kingdom (hereafter referred to as the "Site Operator") and the Visitor or User of the site (hereafter collectively referred to as "User") concerning the regulation of relationships associated with the use of cookies and similar technologies that automatically transmit information about the User to the Site Operator.

This Policy is a public offer addressed to fully competent individuals.

By visiting https://circle.help (hereafter referred to as the "Site") or performing a targeted action on the Site, with certain browser settings configured to accept cookies, the User agrees to the use of cookies and similar technologies by the Site Operator to provide services available on the Site.

If the User does not agree to the use of cookies by the Site Operator, they must cease using the Site and may disable cookies in their browser, but this may hinder the use of the Site or services on the Site. Without the use of cookies and related technologies, the User will not be able to properly use the Site, including certain functions.

The fact of acceptance of this Policy (unconditional acceptance of all terms contained herein by performing a targeted action) is recorded by the Site Operator in electronic form. The information registered by the Site Operator about the acceptance of the offer may be used as evidence in any instances, including in court.

The Cookie Usage Policy is an integral part of the Legal Information and Privacy PolicyTerms used in the Cookie Usage Policy are defined and explained in the context of the Legal Information and Privacy Policy

For clarifications on terms and individual provisions of this Policy, please contact the support service at support@circle.help.

1. WHAT ARE "COOKIES"

1.1. This section provides information about the cookie technology used or that may be used on the Site, for which the Site Operator is responsible.

1.2. Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information downloaded to the User's device when they visit the Site. The User's device software, such as a web browser, stores cookies and sends them back to the Site on subsequent visits. Cookies allow the Site to recognize the User's device and preferences and provide the Site Operator with information that can be used to improve the User's experience on the Site.

1.3. When "personal data" are processed by cookies, the Site Operator acts as the "data controller" of this information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. For clarification of these and other provisions of data protection legislation, as well as to obtain comprehensive information on the Site Operator's obligations when processing personal data, including the transfer of personal data as part of the Site Operator's business worldwide, and the User's rights concerning any personal information processed by the Site Operator, the User may refer to the Privacy Policy.

1.4. Third-party providers of cookie technology used by the Site Operator may process data collected by cookies on the Site in an aggregated form for their own purposes.

2. TYPES OF COOKIES

2.1. "NECESSARY" OR "ESSENTIAL" COOKIES

2.1.1. The Site Operator uses mandatory cookies to manage the basic functions of the Site, allowing the User to visit the Site, navigate through it, and use its features. The Site Operator does not require consent for the use of these cookies, but the User may independently block these cookies on their device/browser. However, without these cookies, the Site is unlikely to function as the User expects, and some services that the User may request (e.g., logging into their account on the Site) may not be provided.

2.1.2. When the Site Operator processes "personal data" using these mandatory cookies, it does so based on the legitimate interests of the Site Operator to provide the Site for use by Users and to promote it.

2.1.3. Essential cookies used by the Site Operator are technically necessary for the proper functioning of the Site. For example, mandatory cookies are necessary for the User to log into their account, set preferences, and fill out forms. They remember the User and their settings and save the User from having to re-enter information when moving between pages. They ensure the quick loading of the Site's pages by distributing the workload. Mandatory cookies are also necessary for the Site to distinguish browsers, differentiate Users by a common IP address, provide the correct content, and recognize trusted traffic and apply security settings.

2.1.4. When the User navigates to the Site, mandatory cookies collect a session identifier, the timestamp of the visit and login, and session verification data. Mandatory cookies may also collect information about the type and settings of the browser, the type and settings of the device, the operating system, and the mobile network.

2.1.5. Essential cookies may be session-based, meaning their duration expires as soon as the User exits the session and closes the browser. Or they may be stored for six months or longer, for example, to remember the User's preferences regarding cookies, storage may continue as long as the User maintains an account on the Site.

2.1.6. Data collected by certain essential cookies may be collected only in aggregated form, by which no User of the Site can be identified or distinguished from another by third-party providers of essential cookies.

2.1.7. Personal data of Users collected through the use of cookies may be transferred worldwide, for example, due to shared IT systems and data processing centers, and cross-border operating methods.

2.2. "ANALYTICAL" COOKIES

2.2.1. Analytical cookies are used for statistical analysis. This helps the Site Operator understand how Users use and navigate the Site, which allows improving and adapting the Site to best meet the needs of Users, for example, making the most popular features easier to find and access or ensuring the proper operation of the Site on devices and technologies used by Users.

2.2.2. These cookies operate using a distinctive sequence of characters by which the browser or device of the User ("unique identifier") can be identified, which, for example, can be used to recognize the date and time of the visit (visits) to the Site. Analytical cookies may also collect information about the type and settings of the browser, the type and settings of the device, the operating system, and the mobile network. This information is used to distinguish the User from other Users of the Site, but it cannot be used to identify the User as a specific person.

2.2.3. The Site Operator installs these types of cookies only if the User has given their consent by selecting "Allow all cookies." In cases where the Site Operator processes the User's personal data using these types of cookies, it does so based on this consent.

2.2.4. Opting out of analytical cookies will not allow the Site Operator to collect the data described above for improving the Site. This will not affect the performance and functionality of the Site.

2.3. SOCIAL NETWORK COOKIES

2.3.1. Plugins of various social networks may be configured on the Site so that they install cookies only on devices used by registered members of these social network platforms. For example, the Site Operator may advertise the Site and services provided on certain third-party websites.

2.3.2. The Site Operator uses cookies from these third-party sites on its own Site to:

  • Provide anonymous demographic data and viewing information about Users logged into the Site;
  • Help tailor advertising on websites of these third parties;
  • Help measure the effectiveness of advertising.

2.3.3. These cookies operate using a distinctive sequence of characters by which the browser or device ("unique identifier") can be identified. Social network cookies may also collect information about the type and settings of the browser, the type and settings of the device, the operating system, and the mobile network. This information is used to distinguish Users, but it cannot be used to identify the User as a specific person.

2.3.4. The Site Operator installs these types of cookies only if the User has given their consent by selecting "Allow all cookies." In cases where the Site Operator processes personal data using these types of cookies, it does so based on this consent.

2.3.5. Opting out of social network cookies will result in the inability to link User visits to the Site with the Site Operator's marketing campaigns.

2.4. COOKIES SET BY THIRD PARTIES

2.4.1. "Third-party cookies" are cookies installed by a domain different from the one hosting the Site. When the User visits the Site, third-party organizations may place cookies in the User's browser, even if the User is not a registered member of these organizations. This is because third-party cookies do not require the User to actively interact with third-party content or visit their website; simply loading a page on the Site where third-party technology is located is sufficient. For example, the Site Operator may use third-party technologies to implement new options on the Site. Providers of these technologies may place cookies in the User's browser when they visit pages on the Site where the Site Operator uses their technology.

2.4.2. In all cases, the Site Operator does not install these cookies and does not have access to the information they collect. These cookies are subject to the individual cookie policies of the third-party organizations.

3. MANAGING COOKIES

3.1. Users can manage cookies (including enabling or disabling them) via their browser settings. For example, by activating a setting in the browser that allows refusing the installation of all or some cookies, a user can block cookies. However, using browser settings to block all cookies, including those essential for operation, may prevent access to all or parts of the Site's services.

3.2. Since every browser is unique, the Site Operator advises users to check the "Help" menu of their specific browser (or the mobile phone manual) to learn how to change cookie settings. Users can also find additional information on how to manage cookies on third-party websites (such as www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/).

3.3. Here are some links to pages with information about managing cookies in popular browsers, which may be helpful:

3.4. Users can also find additional information about deleting or managing cookies at www.aboutcookies.org.

3.5. The Site Operator has provided detailed information about third-party websites and services that might be useful, and users should note that the Site Operator is not responsible for the content, functionality, or services provided by these sites.

4. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE USAGE POLICY

4.1. The Site Operator reserves the right to modify and update this Policy at any time in accordance with applicable law. Changes to this Policy may be required due to legislative updates, expansions, or changes in the functionality of the Site. Users are obligated to regularly check for changes and adhere to the version of the Policy posted at the footer of the Site at https://circle.help.

4.2. If a user continues to use the Site after changes to the Policy, it is assumed that the user has reviewed all changes and accepted them. The Site Operator may require users to expressly accept the new version of the Policy by performing a legally significant action other than merely visiting the Site as a condition for continuing to use the Site or its services.

4.3. Users must stop using our Site if they do not agree with the new version of the Policy.
